Location

The entire Costa Dorada enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate, with mild temperatures in winter and warm summers, with little rainfall. The orography makes the climate stable, ideal for outdoor activities all year round. Temperatures range between 14º on average in winter and 21-29º in the summer months.

The name Costa Dorada comes from the tiny golden fragments, of mineral origin, that we find mixed with the sand along the entire coastline. Many of the beaches on the Costa Dorada have been awarded the blue flag by the Foundation for Environmental Education in Europe, as has our beach in front of Estival ElDorado. Towns such as Calafell, Salou or Cambrils have been certified by the Generalitat as family tourism destinations par excellence.

The capital of Baix Camp, a fundamentally commercial city. The streets in the center are pedestrian and make Reus the best shopping center.

Walking through the center, you can admire examples of modernist architecture, the result of the school of the great architect Antonio Gaudí, born in Reus, where he and several of his disciples left their architectural mark.
