Estival Group Hotels & Resorts is looking for a COOK for its Hotel Vilamarí, a reference urban establishment in Barcelona. We are looking for people with experience in the kitchen, a focus on quality, and the ability to work in a team within a dynamic hotel environment.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Preparation and cooking of dishes according to the established menu and à la carte offerings.
- Mise en place control and station organization.
- Compliance with the group's quality and presentation standards.
- Control and proper storage of raw materials.
- Application of hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP).
- Collaboration in menu design according to experience level.
- Support to the Head Chef during daily service.
- Cleaning and maintenance of the work area.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a cook.
- Training in cooking or catering (vocational training or certificate valued).
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen organization.
- Knowledge of HACCP regulations.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
- Proactive attitude and focus on quality.
VALUED SKILLS
- Experience in urban hotels or organized catering.
- Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine.
- Experience in buffet and/or à la carte service.
- Schedule flexibility.
CONDITIONS
- Contract according to the hospitality agreement of Catalonia.
- Full-time position with rotating shifts according to service needs.
- Salary according to the agreement and provided experience.
- Immediate incorporation / to be defined.
- Stability and development in a consolidated hotel group.
- Possibility of promotion and/or mobility within Estival Group.
